About the MR16DDT Engine

The MR16DDT is Nissan's 1.6L (1618cc) DIG-T inline-four 16-valve turbocharged engine, first introduced in the Nissan Juke in autumn 2010. Factory output ranges from 188 bhp (140 kW) with 240 N⋅m (177 lb-ft) of torque in standard form, up to 215 bhp (160 kW) with 285 N⋅m (210 lb-ft) in NISMO RS FWD variants. This engine platform is shared across Nissan and Renault vehicles globally, making it an ideal candidate for performance upgrades.
