This looks to be a clone of the killer bee holy header, except 304ss vs 321. I am yet to install and tune, still running the ssi/kinugawa el header. All the welds appear to be good. I must admit, the main differences between the holy header and this one aside from the alloy used are 1) the mandrel bends don't appear to be true mandrel at all. There's noticeable i.d differences where the bends are. 2) the flanges are magnetic, meaning they aren't 304 and likely another 4 series alloy. Not a huge deal, but I am disappointed in the bends.
Excellent and reasonable price especially the tax paid ahead DHL .Best after sale service , fixing the CHRA was a challenge but with Kinugawa support , instructions and also reshipping free headless hex M12 as a replacement of the 2 water coolant seal bolts witch was interfering with the coolant pipes via DHL in 3 days made the job easy .my turbo works like new , my 850 T5 power restored . I am very impressed with the product and I will definitely buy from this great company when needed.
I did a custom application turbo. I needed help sorting out the housings. They were awesome with helping me figure out what I needed. Turbo looks and performs better than I expected for the price. Shipping was very fast. I think it was about 5 days from Taiwan to rural Utah. I will buy from them again
With stock engine STS version is a great solution for spool and power, very funny, good qualiy. In my opinion need a better canister waste gate
The stock iHi turbo in my 04 Mazdaspeed MX-5 unfortunately developed an oil leak and had to be replaced. I went with the Kinugawa turbo because of the fact that it doesnt require me to swap out the exhaust manifold & the Flying Miata downpipe /exhaust. The supplied Kinugawa hardware didnt fit. Had to fabricate & improvise. The Kinugawa turbo sits further back than the stock iHi turbo causing some fitment issues with the exhaust downpipe & cat. Beyond that, the installation was fine. The tune shop who did the installation was able to dyno tune my Mazdaspeed MX-5 to 230HP w/ 230TRQ which is perfect for a daily Miata w/ stock engine internals.
Its only been installed for about 50 miles and so far so good. Im hopeful that it will last. We shall see *fingers crossed*

12/12: I’m nearly reaching a 1000 miles on the turbo so far and all is good. The car is running beautifully. I dont beat up on it, running it hard doing a bunch of hard pulls. Ive done a few, not bouncing off the rev limiter, to see what it can do, but im mostly conservative with it. Im really having a good time driving my MSM now. Its fun.
Bought as a replacement for the turbo on my Mitsubishi Delica Spacegear. Extremely good communication and advice given before the actual purchase. Delivery was fast. The turbo itself looks well made and was an easy replacement for the original one, although the supplied, replacement coolant lines were both too long and I had to use the originals. Also, the turbo drain tube was different to the original and a new connecting hose had to be fitted to use the one supplied with the turbo. It performs well and I am overall, very happy with it!
I got this for my 1.5t civic si a couple years back. Great quality and sounds good. I'm a satisfied returning customer. I rebuilt my Evo 9 turbo with your 9 blade turbine, 11+0 compressor wheel and 20g housing.
Turbo runs great with no problems but the tubing kit is kinda useless in the st205 celica idk about MR2 compatibility I just used the OEM oil drain and cooling tubes
No complaints . Response and power has been amazing. I've had the turbo on for about 10k miles with no issues. Honestly wish I went with a bigger turbo but doesn't not downplay the quality.
Turbo seems to hold up well after warranty repair, had some issues with hardware and having them send the right fittings, other than that turbo seems of good quality and performs good, so far no issues after 10k miles of daily driving
Very good company, great turbo any technical issue they respond instantly with any advice you need, they sent me a banjo bolt kit right away free of charge because of the fitting having a manufacture issue. very impressed overall would definetly recommend them to anyone looking for a aftermarket turbo thanks kinugawa. 😀
Purchased this product with a bit of skepticism but have come to really like the product. I did however have to put a Lil bit of thin oil to help with sticking. Would buy again especially for the price.
High quality and finish. Some of the bolts were not tight, but other than that, fully reccomend these turbos. Cheers!
