The 12H-T is a 4.0 L (3,980 cc) inline 6, 12 valve OHV turbocharged direct injection diesel engine. Bore is 91 mm, and the stroke is 102 mm, with a compression ratio of 18.6:1. Output is 134 hp (100 kW) at 3500 rpm with 232 lb·ft (315 N·m) of torque at 1,800 rpm on the stock configuration of 7PSI of boost. Applications: Toyota Land Cruiser HJ61 (J60 4-speed H41F or H42F manual transmission U.S. market only.), Toyota Coaster HB20 HB30.

The 2H is a 4.0 L (3,980 cc) inline 6, 12 valve OHV indirect injection diesel engine. Bore is 91 mm, and the stroke is 102 mm, with a compression ratio of 20.7:1. Output is 105 PS (77 kW) at 3,500 rpm - later production years 107 hp (80 kW) with 177 lb·ft (240 N·m) of torque at 2,000 rpm. This engine weighs 330 kg (728 lb) in European trim from 1985. Applications: Toyota Land Cruiser HJ47, HJ60, HJ75, Toyota Dyna HU20, HU30, HU40, HU50, Toyota Coaster HB20, HB30.

The 13B-T is a turbocharged version of the 13B engine, with a compression ratio of 17.6:1. Output is 120 hp (89 kW) at 3,400 rpm with 159 ft·lbf (217 N·m) of torque at 2,200 rpm. The later "LASRE" version has 130 PS (96 kW) at 3,400 rpm and 30.0 kg⋅m (294 N⋅m; 217 lb-ft) at 2,000 rpm. Applications: Land Cruiser BJ71, BJ74.

The 14B-T is a turbocharged version of the 14B engine. Applications: Dyna, Toyoace.

The 15B-T was supplied only to the Japanese Armed Forces. Based on a 14B-T, it is presumed to be bored out to a 4.1 L (4104 cc) inline 4-cylinder, eight-valve, OHV, direct (mechanical) injection, intercooler, turbocharged diesel engine.
